Time for Change: New St Helens SEND School Approved at the Former Clock Face Pub

We are pleased to be supporting our client, Bright Futures Care (BFC), in continuing to expand their Specialist Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) School provision across the Merseyside Region with their proposals to extend and convert the Clockface Pub, St Helens, into a new SEND school for children between the ages of 5-25 approved by St Helens Council today.

The school will be created through the change of use, refurbishment and extension of the existing Clock Face Public House building. Playing fields, parking and other associated facilities would also be provided within the curtilage of the school. Once complete the development will offer a quality environment and educational experience for 54 students with an autistic spectrum disorder and / or other complex disabilities, and the new school will work closely with BFC’s existing school at Ash Meadow (located on the corner of Gartons Lane and Jubits Lane), also in St Helens.

Euan Kellie Property Solutions have advised on the proposals from the outset, navigating the pre-application process, preparing and submitting the associated application, and managing the application through to a positive determination.
