EKPS advising Cheshire Smokehouse on their plans to modernise their current facilities in Wilmslow

EKPS are pleased to be advising a local, family owned business, on their plans to modernise their current facilities

Wilmslow business Cheshire Smokehouse plans to safeguard the business for another generation, with a major upgrade of its site.

The scheme, designed by Up North Architects, includes a complete reconfiguration of the site to create new and improved facilities including a new food production building to enable the Smokehouse to continue to produce its famous smoked goods on site and meet modern food production requirements.

Prior to submitting plans to Cheshire East Council, the Smokehouse has been sharing its plans with members of the community for their comments.

EKPS are responsible for providing planning advice and are hoping to submit an application to Cheshire East Council later this month.
