Fresh Permission Secured for Town Centre Housing Scheme in Bolton

Euan Kellie have secured a fresh planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Moor Lane Bus Station site in Bolton on behalf of Step Places, which incorporates a series of modifications to the original consent granted in 2021.

The development, which comprises 218 homes including 82 affordable units, will introduce new town centre living to Bolton in an attractive, landscaped setting, a short distance away from the iconic, Grade II listed Le Mans Crescent.

The amendments were approved by Bolton’s Planning Committee following the submission of a s73 application.

Euan Kellie coordinated the planning submission and led negotiations with the Local Planning Authority, both prior to and following the submission of the application.

On the same project, Euan Kellie have also been successful in securing permission for a series of non-material amendments to the original permission, through the submission of four separate s96A applications over the past few months.
