Euan Kellie Property Solutions provided planning advice to support Maxilead’s ‘enabling development’ case involving the redevelopment of their existing site at Parr Bridge in Mosley Common, Wigan.
The proposals comprised two planning applications: the first seeking outline permission for a mixed-use residential-led development totalling up to 154 dwellings. Half of the application site involved land located within the designated Green Belt. The second application sought approval for the relocation of Maxilead’s business to a new employment site at Chanters Industrial Estate in Tyldesley.
EKPS provided strategic advice, working alongside planning consultants JWPC, and prepared a robust Green Belt Planning Justification Statement.
